el libro tuvo un mal inicio (el protagonista portándose como un patan), pero se recuperó rápidamente, me está gustando

I don’t know how to rate it. It’s between three and four stars but, e.g. “Nocticadia” was a four star read and this is miles away from that.
The plot had potential but it was extremly predictable and the conflict in the end seemed unnecessary.

Something important that I learned is that reading mafia romance in english makes it so much less cringe.

I’m not sure if I would read it again and I also don’t think I’ll read the other books in the series.

It was alright. The translation was okay and the plot very predictable.
A few scenes were great, e.g. Dom eating seefood despite being allergic to ensure Luca will be going to the ball with Cassie and I also liked Matteo’s whole persona.

Aahhmmm can one say “kreischende Reifen”?

If it’s only somewhat like “Silent Lies” (the last mafia book I read) I’ll have a wonderful time.

The cover is pretty, the reviews decent and I got it for free - what more can you ask for.
