Ugh, I'm confused - I thought they just got there, together, and does she hate it there or not? And all these 'secrets', seriously, without having read the other books, this makes no sense 😑

This is not good. There is an established couple with some sort of history and a whole setup that isn't explained. This isn't shaping up to be any sort of a standalone story, but a check in where you need to have read the previous book 😑
