I'd read this book a lot faster if the pages weren't constantly trying to close on me. Disability means hands, wrists, and arms tire out quickly. Even with my book stand it's difficult. :(

Page 139 had me crying with laughter

The chapter entitled “The Kangaroo Pig Gets Drunk,” is quite simply the best chapter of any book I’ve ever read in my whole entire life.

No sabría decir si este libro es mejor que el primero, pero su tono es bastante diferente. Creo que la autora se ha tomado más libertades, ha entrado en temas más dolorosos y en narrativas más extrañas. La atención al detalle y a todo lo pequeño que se suele pasar por alto en situaciones super cotidianas, es lo que más me gusta de su estilo.

holy SHIT that came out of nowhere. i picked this book up because I wanted something funny, and i love allie and her wit and her stories and her mind so much, but this books deals with the death of a loved one, and that chapter hit much harder than expected. now I'm having a crisis and a breakdown so ^_^ (i still love this book but I'm going through it bc of it tho)

So far I think chapter 14 fairness is the funniest.

So good I love it.. it just makes me feel happy 🤣

Chapter 9 is fucking hilarious. I laughed so hard, I think I just got an abdominal hernia.

I'm a third of the way through this book and I can't begin to understand why this book exists, but is it funny? Yes, I'm dying from the laughter.

Seriously, this book is random as fuck and provides no solutions to any of life's problems. But I now know the author is terrible with children, grew up in a big household (siblings and dogs and HORSES), and daydreams about the most grandiose achievements.

the daydream chapter is VERY funny

Some great observations, but I am feeling like her first book was a bit better.
