It just saddens me.

I didn't realize how much I needed this until I started reading it.

I feel skeptical somehow? This has lost what it meant to me before. The illustrations are beautiful (yes), and the stories cute, it’s just hard for me to connect with them. They seem like exaggerations. An hour blown up from a two minute incidence. Why can’t I enjoy these as much as I did back in the old days?

Not loving it tbh.

Just a few chapters in and I'm cackling -- CACKLING, do you HEAR me?! -- at "Dandelions." The stories in this book are magnificently preposterous. And they're true, which makes it better.

Feel a little more hollow than my original experience reading Allie Brosh’s work 10 years ago.

After all these years, Allie Brosh is still able to maintain the same level of humor and I'm having so much fun with it.

Finally starting this and already feeling emotional that it's going to end eventually!

I am loving this but am having a hard time reading print books due to cataract surgery. I am hoping my eyes settle down so I can get back to it.

I was only gonna read for like ten minutes... 176 pages later proved me wrong.

I wanted to really go into detail about how awkward death can be, and describe the lack of closure and how it always just sits there, and the guilt, and the regrets, and which crossing it was, and all my guesses for what her last thoughts might have been, and how I still have dreams about her, but she acts different now.

This is a reasonable point. And when you’re in full-on rage-ejection mode, there is nothing more infuriating than a reasonable point

Hours later, it was clear to me that no type of animal is exempt from agility competitions.

It's good to see the dog characters back but so far this isn't half as enjoyable as Hyperbole

Having trouble getting into this one. Stylistically, it's different from her last book and her blog, but it's hard to pinpoint exactly what makes it feel so "off." The art is about the same, but her captions now seem a little on the nose; the humor is different, harsher somehow? Hm. We'll see.

Oh. It just took a turn towards Sad City.
