See the previous remark for the beginning of this comment! :)
Seeing how the book is about spreading awareness, I think the book should go a little more in-depth so that people who have different opinions or knowledge, can still get a chance to understand her statements.

I feel the book expects readers to have a certain foundational knowledge. E.g. in Alex's chapter, the author says that because people are not aware of gender being a social construct and fluid, there is unequal healthcare provision and comfort for a specific group of people. I think this is only straightforward and understandable if someone has the same opinion or knowledge.

I'm done with the introduction now and I want to lock myself up in my room with this book so that all I can do is read, annotate, and tell my boyfriend about what I just read.
Especially now that I can start with the people's stories, I just want to keep reading. But I have exams so that will be something I can do tomorrow, unfortunately.

I really like how reflexive the author is. She also touches upon so many important things in the introduction and she has great statements (quotes to annotate).

I am annotating the shit out of this book and I am savoring every single sentence. I feel like, for the first time, I actually want the reading of a book to go slow so that I can soak up every word, every sentence of the book and really enjoy it and learn from it.
I'm only 9 pages in, but if it keeps going like this, it will be a 5 star read.

I have only read 4 pages and I already love it. You can really tell the author (doctor) has written this book with her heart and emotions.
