A few chapters back I started to find it harder to get through the book. I think it is because it’s getting a little bit repetitive and because it is so (statistical) information dense. Nevertheless, the chapter I just finished, Maya’s chapter, was really good. I really like the aspect of her Indian culture and migration parents. It’s really interesting and intriguing.

I just finished the story of the partner of someone who had an abortion and I think it’s very interesting. It really makes you think about what the role of the partner, specifically the men, is in abortion.
Just like with sexism, we really need men in the fight too in order to achieve change.

I just learned about the organizations ‘Women on Waves’ and ‘Aid Access’ and I think they are so clever!
Women on waves is an organization that provides abortions on a ship on international waters (which means, no restrictions).
Aid access is an organization that sends pregnant people medication for a medications abortion and counsels them.
Both help people in restrictive countries get an abortion.

Alex's chapter really brought the most emotions out of me (up till now at least) because of their complicated relationship with their parents.
