So far this is a super interesting read. There is so so much to learn - I feel like one read through is not enough. The author seems very knowledgeable in her field and explains things well. Her exploration of the connection between your emotions and your physical health is really informative (the scope of which I have always been skeptical of) and is explained scientifically. So far a worthwhile read.

Still finding this to be a good read- many of the studies she references are ones I respect so it def adds credibility to her theories, and she has a nice writing style

Wow! So far it is really well written and engaging enough to keep my interest. I look forward to finishing the audiobook and buying myself the hard copy to slowly re-read and engage in the actually activities. Highly recommend!

Abandoning this one. . . There’s a lot I vehemently disagree with. I would go as far to say it’s damaging to one’s healing. Do not recommend, but her Instagram is great !

What you don’t heal from often comes out in negative ways towards partners, your children, friendships and work relationships. This book helps you face and understand your trauma (whether it’s big, small or undiscovered).
It also connects how trauma is experienced in the body if not healed from. Digestive issues like IBS or chronic constipation. Chronic pain or disease.
Do yourself a favor and start healing.

Slow and steady but it’s very interesting to learn about how our habits are formed

When the book started talking about your ego and how it can rule your life I felt very targeted and also the inner child who is an over achiever yap that’s me. This book is revealing a lot
