Ken Follett is always a good read. I’m still getting into the story line, meeting characters.

Painstakingly suspenseful story, including the Cold War treachery, Space Race, brain-washing, interweaving spies, Cape Canaveral, FL and Washington, DC in 1958.

Hm, didn't expect that revelation regarding Anthony - and apparently Elspeth, too.

A murder attempt went bad and Luke learns more and more of his past. Sounds like he'll improve his life after all this is done. Maybe.

Now Luke knows who he is, more or less. Apparently Anthony is alone in his weird plots and getting more and more desperate. Curious.

Starting Part II. I wonder what kind of a game that CIA guy is playing behind everyone's backs...

Qué triste encontrar referencia de la intervención de la CIA sobre Guatemala en un libro de ficción sobre espías y lavado de cerebro.

It is pretty exciting, the story fit pretty well. I am right now between a 3/5 or a 4/5. It had a real slow and frustarating start thats why I am not even considering a 5/5 stars.

Finally I can say that I am into it. This is a book that was had such a confusing and difficult plot at e beginning that it was very frustarating even!! I was really close to just close it and never open it again. But I kept on reading and I am happy I did. It's not even close to being one of my favorite books (Velocity and The Hunger Games). It's pretty much in the middle...

Well I actually did like it, even though I do not like these type of books. But now at this point I am completely lost again, just like I always am with CIA, Army books. I just get lost in all that details and different people and types of buildings and all that kind of stuff. This will probably be my last book I read of this genre, as it is very frustrating when you get lost in-between all the difficult details.

Starting to read a book like this directly after reading The Hunger Games is a big change, so I kind of need to get used to it. So far it's interesting. I usually do not like these type of books with all the CIA stuff, as I don't really get it. But I always give them a chance. And so far I am glad I started this book as it is very interesting and exciting. :-D
