Writing is elementary, the story is predictably toxic, the female main character is annoying with the inner monologue of a middle schooler. I expected all of this, and I’m not going to pretend I picked this up for the plot. The spice is mild, at best, and at 185 pages in, I just can’t take it. Disappointing attempt by an otherwise filthy (in the best way) author.
