I typically prefer strictly memoir rather than research paper, but I didn’t know that electroconvulsive therapy has been refined so much that it isn’t a scary procedure anymore and sometimes actually helps people so at least I learned something

The chapter ‘More Children Do Not Have To Die’ is absolutely heart wrenching.

Definitely enjoying this book way more— I like the more science-y aspect of it over the memoir-y part
