I will be 50 before I finish this book

i know i’m getting super near to the end of the book and i honestly can’t bear the thought of that. this has become my all-time favorite book and even though it uncomfortably hits home sometimes, i still don’t want to let go of it yet.

This isn’t super engaging at the moment and is pretty slow paced, but it’s breaching such difficult topics so well and the writing is wonderful. The descriptions are really making me feel like I’m in the dry hot heat of the setting.

This book is so looong uuugh I feel like they could’ve cut at least 1/3 of it.

You mean to tell me that I had to get TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY PAGES into this fucking book before the actual conversion camp plot kicked in? I AM BORED (but still probs gonna finish it ugh)
