Status Updates From Handling the Undead

Quite compelling so far... the plot is almost secondary to the character's reactions/emotions - not a bad thing, just unexpected in a zombie novel.

So far I'm really enjoying this book. I'm happy to read a zombie novel (...my first zombie novel, actually) that attempts to move beyond the flesh-eating-zombie trope. Definitely not as "good" as Let the Right One In, but so far it's an entertaining read.

was at page 137 since yesterday its due tuesday i dont feel like renewing this one and i know im not going to finish. how can i finish a book in a day, but not make the same about of pages in a day with this one? just gonna stop this one for now.

I'm having trouble continuing this book. I've gotten about 10 more pages past this point, but am at a stand still with it. It's due to the library Tuesday, I could renew it,but I think if I'm not finished I might just return it. I do have an entire stack of books to read, and dont want to stress myself out over one book.

Finally done. I read this in small bits while on the bus using Kindle for Android. It was a good book, but I felt like the ending was somewhat lacking.

Not sure yet why many found this lacking compared to Let the Right One In.

Percentages are not nearly as rewarding as page numbers. This is probably my only dislike with the Kindle.

I feel like I'm missing something or just on the edge of understanding :\

Hmmmm...I sure hope there's some horror coming up.

Almost finished with this book, and hopefully I can complete by the 26 January when it must be returned to the library.

I hope that this book is less freaky than "Let the Right One In" because I really did not enjoy that story all that much. I had nightmares of people jamming fingers through my ear and into my brain. Who says that just because you are in your twenties you can't have a bit of an overactive imagination

I don't like 7 day rentals from the library, it makes reading the book stressful. However my friend read it first and recommended it to me, so I figured I would give it a try

simply amazing so far...a different take on the zombie genre...very well-written with characters you care about and a provocative plot...also touching and sad, but worth the parts where your empathy is almost draining....

La verdad es que cada vez engancha más este escritor... Es como Stephen King en cuanto a las descripciones, pero por lo menos hace parecer historias fantásticas como historias que suceden en el mundo real.

Read the first 100 pages of this instead of studying last night. Couldn't put it down. So far it's not as good as Let the Right One In, but all the same it's creepy and entertaining and gross and, yes, moving. DAMN YOU, LINDQVIST, I SHOULDN'T LIKE THESE CHARACTERS SO MUCH AFTER SO LITTLE TIME WITH THEM.

I had to take this back to the library but I put another copy on hold. grrrr

what do you do with dead people that are "reliving?" - why would you dig up your dead son?

Non-violent walking dead, that really just want to go home. Is that so bad?

Creepy fun! Just as Let The Right One In was creepy fun.
