Status Updates From Handling the Undead

This is getting heart-breaking.

The Elias segment I am finding very creepy and disturbing, makes a change to feel a little unnerved.

Getting a kinda 'Love Actually' with Zombies vibe from this book - not so much storyline but how the characters intermingle etc.

Keeps getting better! Flora and Elvy are my favorite characters/POV so far, though we haven't heard from Henning (first character to appear) since the first "chapter". I wanna know more about him.

Swedes going crazy over 30 C weather, rats killing each other in the streets, and the zombie of a woman who just died in a crash crash involving an elk. Can't get any better than this :D

I don't understand why everyone has such bad reviews on this. No, it's not a zombie book per say but I love the unique storyline.

This book is killing me...the zombies dont do anything

Every October I have to start off with some horror!

Even though the zombies are passive this author keeps me reading so i can figure out what is going to happen.

Picked up today at my local library, and cannot put the book down, which is rare for me.

I absolutely LOVED 'Let the Right One In'. I've heard this book isn't anywhere near as good, but I'm hoping that's not true. Guess I'll find out.

I was expecting this book to be disturbing, but yikes!

This book is amazing.

So far, it isn't as good as Let The Right One In but it is still really good. Also, I am quite enjoying reading on the Kindle so far.

I was enjoying this book but I can't go on anymore, at least for now. After being a mother, there are some things that affect me deeply :'(

It's coming into its own but it still has the feel of The Strain - the loneliness, the misplaced hope.

So far so good! It has been a while since I've read this genre, so this book is refreshing :)

I don't know why but this book is reminding me so much of "The Strain". I loved The Strain for it's originality but second time around it isn't so original. I'll give it more than 24 pages, I'm hoping it comes into it's own soon.
