This is my first read of this author's work (though I'd seen the movie "Let the Right One In"), and I'm enjoying it. It's not the "reliving" as cannibalistic zombies, but a musing on nostalgia for the people we once loved. It poses the question of whether or not these beings continue to have, after death, the same rights as we, the living, have. An eery premise with a very King-esque style to the characterization.

I stop in this one. Slow and not feeling a connection with the story. A shame because the author definitely has a good writing style.

I have now given up on anything interesting happening. so much tedium so much looping back. whoever gave the blurb comparing this to Stephen king is a liar our didn't read a word. waiting for this book to end.

48 pages of people with headaches unable to shut off their electronics, wandering about. Dull, dull, and dull. Get to the story.

I was intrigued by the different take on zombies, but I was having trouble with the translation. It just seemed incoherent and/or choppy at times. Now Im so hooked into the story line I honestly cant put it down! Translation be damned.

It took a while for me to get into this, but now I am I'm enjoying it. Rather than a zombie story its focus is on the effects on those whose loved ones (who died at varying stages in their lives) are 'reliving' and, as such, it's emotionally gripping. What would YOU do?

...not sure what to make of this, tbh. It might be the translation, but it feels rather stilted and forced. But u shall persevere!
