I love knowing I picked up the right book at the right time. In my Sara Dessen feels because of all the Taylor Swift listening I’ve been doing before Eras tour. Old Tay songs feel like Dessen books and vice versa. And the Folklore love triangle has Sara Dessen all over it. I’m loving the family in this. It feels like I’m 13 again when I’m reading…but like in a good way. I’m in my feelings!!!

good bailey and saylor got into a fight and saylor left for lake north.

saylor is realizing how much of a fun time she is having so she gets in a fight with her dad. she and roo are becoming a thing maybe. bailey is pissed at colin keep you updated 🫶🏻

omg the plot. colin is a ass. bailey is now sad because he didn’t come. blake and saylor might not be a thing anymore because he just wanted to show her off i think. roo and saylor are so cute! i loved the scene where they were shopping together and they didn’t even need to really say anything to each other! keep you updated 🫶🏻

I really like her getting to know the people there. I feel like she is still uncomfortable around her mom's family because she didn't spend much time with them before. I feel like Yellow Bikini girl is going to be like a pick-me.

we got a realationshop! blake and saylor. wow i mean for a kiss maybe a really drunk one for blake. i think saylor really likes him. jack was trying to help bailey for making the wrong decision and poor roo had to sit there and listen. we learn about roos dads death and we see good development with the cousins in general. keep you updated 🫶

i love the story! i love how emma gets to meet her moms side of the family even though she isn’t here to see it. i have a good feeling about this next chapter. i think we are going to get emma’s love interest maybe! i love this whole book a lot so far. keep you updated 🫶

i love the plot. emma’s dad just got remarried to a woman named Tracy. Emma’s new stepmom. she lived with her nana in her apartment and she is kinda scared for the new changes that will happen with the new marriage. but her friends bridget and ryan (both girls) assure her it will be for the better and take champane and toast to the future keep you updated 🫶

I’m four chapters in an feigning for some romance. Also I’m choosing to spell the love interest’s name “Rue” not “Roo” cause the later just reminds me of Kanga r& Roo from Winnie the Poo
