It's been a minute since I read a SD book, but I'm ready to have my heart ripped out again.

Doesn’t have the magic along for the ride did but it’s alright

I’ll be finishing the book tonight, and I just want to say that everyone needs to give Sarah Dessen a chance if they haven’t already. Yes, some of her books are better than others, but I have such a strong connection to her.

Not to sound cheesy or over dramatic, but SHE was the one who got me to read more. Not Suzanne collins or other dystopian books, but her.

DNF! This book cannot keep my interest at all. The writing is beyond detailed with useless information.

really good. so many plot twist

hating this book so far. was i supposed to sympathize with fmc for having to live at the tides? i get the want to find family, but how dare she tell her poorer cousin that she’s not lucky then complain about how bailey had the motel all her life. how fcking dare she deny that she’s privileged i hate the fucking white girl privilege. just fucking admit that you’re rich and spoiled cousin.

imagine being able to buy a $270 dress without a single thought. meanwhile, i have to argue with my mom over buying books because it goes over the amount of money she saved to spend (spoiler we can’t afford the book). i hate rich people.

I’m pretty invested now.🤣

i'm noticing Ms. Dessen has a formula she frequently uses...lmao...but it's not too bad

actually not terrible so far. it was so goofy where the girl said (not a quote bc i forgot the wording) “idk why every girl has hated me since i got here” it wasn’t in a pic me way but it was… interesting
