starting out slow but I'm sure it'll pick up. I don't know how I'll feel about the book because I've never really been a fan of Dessen's stories.

If you have ever been in a storm, you know to be prepared. The fact that nobody in the fancy hotel knows what to expect and that the staff is completely unprepared is stupid.

Saylor's father went from being kind and caring to being a complete jerk after his honeymoon. He doesn't listen to her, insists she leave the family she's just getting to know, and forces her to go sailing, which he knows she hates. And he's awful when things go wrong. Completely different character.

Unfortunately I'm having a hard time connecting with the characters...
