- "The only best thing to do" by James Tiptree, Jr.: one of the - so far - rare classical spaceship/first contact stories. Beautifully written, both parts cute and touching.
- "Dinner in Audoghast" by Bruce Sterling with loads of food description.
- "Under Siege" by GRR Martin: a timetravel alternate history story, where I not really felt the sense of it.
