I absolutely adore the movie and this might become my favorite book if it keeps being this good and entertaining. Easy to get caught up in the stoner comedy aspects of the book, but under to surface this is one of the saddest books I have read too

لاسوگاس وسط بیابون واقع شده. هیچ اقتصاد مولدی نداره. فقط پول میآد توش و میره بیرون. هیچ تولیدی در کار نیست. همچنین جایی از لحاظ تئوریک اصلا نباید وجود داشته باشه. چه برسه که بخواد سودآور هم باشه. احساس میکنم کل زندگیم بر پایهی توهمات سوسیالیستی به باد فنا رفته. واقعیت رو گم کردم. میشه لطفا بهم بگین واقعیت کجاست؟

Ok I lied, said I was reading “Vineland” after “The Crying of Lot 49,” but ended up getting this at a indie book store near work.
Wanted to rewatch the PTA movie as well, so delved into this. Absolutely loved the first chapter. Excited about this.
