Finished Chapter 11, where Doc’s search for the Golden Fang narrows his search down to a shady dentist office, then goes to Tito’s limo service, where he gets a surprising lead.

Well, this “Golden Fang” mystery is getting deeper and deeper with each chapter, and just like the main character, it’s dazed & confused, but it will eventually solve its own mystery… if it doesn’t trip on its own two feet.

Finished Chapter 10, where Doc goes down to Sunset Boulevard and uncovers something more about Golden Fang.

Man, the Golden Fang moniker and Mickey Freeman’s connection with them is getting deeper and deeper by the minute. Maybe there will be a major twist surrounding “Golden Fang” and Mickey’s involvement, but I’m getting ahead of myself.

Finished Chapter 9, where Doc freaks out at a drug-fueled mansion, meets up with Bigfoot to discuss Coy, watches disturbing footage at Farley’s home, gets down with Liz, and chats with a woman named Clancy and a guy named Boris.

Well this is a big chapter, which I appreciate for its more detailed look into the roughness of the era, more details on Mickey’s disappearance, and a very trippy mansion sequence.
