I'm listening to the audiable version & am thinking maybe that wasn't the wisest choice. The narrator sounds like every economics professor whose lecture put the attending students to sleep in uni ever. It's dry as the sahara. lol
Also can we just STOP with the OTP Boglehead & Vanguard promotion. I wish I could skip the "Boglehead speak out" bullshit & just read the PROS for the three fund strategy.

I think It's important to know Jack Bogle was the founder of Vanguard, & most "Bogleheads" are diehard Vanguard fans so I expect plenty of Vanguard related promotion. Vanguard is highly regarded as a great place to invest. However, the philosophy being discussed can be employed outside of Vanguard. Ex: Fidelity or M1 Finance as they also have index funds. I'm not employeed by Vanguard, M1 Finance or Fidelity.

I currently hold my dividend growth sportfolio with M1 Finance. Divendend investing doesn't make for lazy investing. I'm not going to get into the technicalities. I only share this as background. Anyway, you can't do any finance research without having the Boglehead forum or articles pop up.
