Me está gustando mucho. Esta novela recupera el estilo de las primeras obras de Isabel Allende que tanto me entusiasmaban.

usually love this writer.......a bit disappointed in this one, felt the characters were somewhat stereotyped......

Suggesting renaming this book to "as many sob stories strung together as possible". I listened to the audiobook via cd. Would have loved to speed it up to 1.5x
Finished the book, but didn't enjoy it very much.

I am almost done and I dont want it to end. This book has me hook, line, and sinker. Isabel Allende is simply a masterful storyteller.

Still unfolding. The writing flows easily but the connections between the characters and the larger story have yet to be discovered.

I switched over to the audiobook so I’m finally making progress. I’m hoping to finish by tomorrow.

Slow so far. Very educational as I did not know Central American history.

Story is a little improbable. This will be 2, maybe 3 stars. On the other hand Isabel Allende in person is charming, alive, honest, and a hoot! Saw her at Seattle Arts and Lectures last night.

Es interesante ver la concepción que tienen las personas de la mediana-tercera respecto al amor. Es lindo saber que no se dejan llevar por el aspecto físico.

Le inverti solo una semana y media.
muy ligero al leer. Los personajes son de otros países (dremmers) que por un suceso nada agradable en la vida llegaron a NY y por otro suceso tampoco agradable coincidieron.

So last night I went to hear Ms. Allende speak (who is amazing) and as I predicted....my library gave me access to the book TODAY! Whomp, whomp. Oh well, starting this one immediately via audio.
