Lento pero seguro... 🐢

I’m still at the beginning of this book and, so far, I enjoy how Allende introduces some historical context to give depth to the personalities and the background of the characters. I like how this ‘educates’ the reader or rather motivates the reader to do some reading on the worldwide and Latin American (political) history.

Lo poco que he leído me ha gustado, es interesante porque es una mujer extranjera... 😌
Pero... Ya estoy preocupada por el Chihuahua 😟😟😟

Estoy sorprendida con la cantidad de detalles en su narración.

Interesante, fácil de leer aunque no es en mi opinión, el mejor libro de Isabel Allende. Me pareció muy interesante la descripción de los migrantes ilegales en Estados Unidos y de lo peligrosa que pueden ser la pandillas en Centroamérica

Não sei se é porque não leio muitos livros deste género ou se é assim mesmo a escrita da escritora, mas no início estava a estranhar um pouco a forma como a história estava a ser narrada. No entanto agora já estou um pouco mais habituada. Primeiro estranha-se e depois entranha-se, não é verdade? Por enquanto, o que estou a gostar mais neste livro é que relata realidades desconcertantes, tão diferentes da minha.

Die ersten Seiten lesen sich bereits sehr vielversprechend.

Nach langer Zeit habe ich mal wieder spontan zu einem Buch von Isabel Allende gegriffen.

There has been basically no dialogue so far in this book, and I’m not sure that I like that

آمل الا اعيش كثيرا لان ذلك سيكون نكبة . الوضع المثالى يكون بوفاة المرء وهو في كامل صحته

لا ينقصه الا تأمين مضاد للذكريات السيئة التى تداهمه حين يخرج عن روتينه وتشوشه الفوضى

لقد زرعت فيها اكاذيب زوجها انعدام ثقة بجنس الذكور بأسره ، لا سبيل إلى إخماده
