Em començo el segon de la trilogia. No es gens el meu estil i crec que es bastant infantil per a mi, pero com que me’l van regalar em sap greu no llegir-me’l. Per sort es curtet i espero tenir-lo acabat en uns 10 dies.

(+) I really like that Binti is still coming to terms with what happened bk 1. And although they’re friends that it does pop up in her head that Okwu was a part of what happened. A part of being forever changed is being different from her family and that’s why she needed to come back. Being discriminated against doesn’t mean she is free of prejudice too. A person relationship to their body and change

This series does form really well. This takes the internal disruption and plays it out on plot level to answer personal stuff. This is like how kids books used to be Magic Tree House. I am a fan of this form esp with this execution

Yo the 1st bk should have been on my best of last year. I think I just forgot or was favoring my recent reads at the time. This topped all the others. Seriously this astounding on every level.

Omfg I am actually done but have a lot to process. But guys WOW this was perfect. And the ending I planned to read this after a few months but how can I after this ending???!!!!

We have a whole plot narrative along with this psychosocial narrative. It’s beyond what I could imagine when it comes to unravelling both. PTSD, survivors guilt, identity, change, harsh q, prejudice, and needing to come home esp.

Been on my mind for a while so I thought it was a good time to dive back in.

Thee I gotta go stop my friend from actually murdering her professor was so funny. And the mutual disdain from the professor. Where do I take this hothead? This concept about Binti having this unexplainable anger that takes over is really interesting and I want to see where it goes. Psyched to be back in this story's world!!!
