Status Updates From Home (Binti, #2)

Took a pause to get distracted on the Internet, came back with strong feelings both for Okwu and Binti. I think this one will be a four, and I may go back sometime and change the first one to a four. Or maybe I will reread it sometime and rerate it. I feel more strongly about them because of all the books I've been tearing through lately, and there's a huge amount of comfort in the writing for me.

Got into this because I was dying from the basically just space fantasy that was The Principle of Moments (I don't mind a little fantasy in my scifi at times, which is obviously still present in Binti, but I wanted to read scifi for a REASON when I picked up The Principle of Moments) and while I have issues w Binti that are a bit hard to define, it's so refreshing and yes please this is the palette cleanse I needed.
