20 minutes into this audiobook and I’m feeling like this was one of my better decisions of late. Retta is SO GREAT!

I love Retta, she is hilarious.

After several months of putting this book down unfinished, I decided to just finish it, but this time listening to the remaining chapters through the scribd app. So I reengaged on 11/23. I’m actually enjoying it more as an audiobook than I did reading it traditionally.

What I like most about this celebrity memoir is.. celebrity interactions. Retta may rub shoulders with a lot of A-List actors but she's also not that famous, she's close to being the shit, y'all, though, and with that, she gives us the best reactions to her celebrity reactions. In other words, she may be famous but she's still one of us... fangirls

Im about halfway thru the audiobook and its HYSTERICAL totally worth tracking it down to listen to it in her voice.

I like that these are all individual essays but follow a general timeline of her life. I can't wait to hit Parks & Rec stuff!
