A very interesting set of characters (some may find a little annoying) that make this an intriguing read and one where you absolutely do not see the ending coming. If you’re a Coben fan you’ll love it! Well worth the read.

For me, Coben's Tell No One is the favorite so far, but the opening chapter's of Don't Let Go are easy to slip into the present murders with a strong connection to the past. Like TNO, this has my full attention from page one.

OK, since the beginning of the book, the MC has used the phrases "twatwaffle", "choadwanker", and "douchenozzle". Idk what the second is, but I've used the other 2. Just not like that. It feels like an aging author tried to find out what younger ppl say these days and is trying too hard. I say this bc y'all know I'm fresh out of fucks to give this year, and I will straight up DNF for an annoyance.

First line: “Daisy wore a clingy black dress with a neckline so deep it could tutor philosophy.”
Oh Harlan, I adore you.

267 pages in one sitting and I’m only quitting now because it’s 4am and my eyes are closing. Properly gripped and I still haven’t worked out the end. 80 pages left.

If I start a book I'm reluctant to quit, even if it is slow going. Last week I was reading a book that had some interesting plot lines and ideas but it didn't lead me to feel or to see what the characters felt. So I quit about halfway through. I had pre-ordered 'Don't Let Go' based on my past experience with Harlan Coben. The contrast was stark. Coben deftly draws a reader into the web he weaves.
