SHUT UP. SHUT UP. SHUT UP. I just figured out why this is all so unsettling and confusing and I am freaking obsessed now.

WHAT. IS. HAPPENING.

There are some very eerie things happening here. They keep talking about things that I knew about as if I didn't know. It is indeed very disorienting.

Kashore's writing is so lyrical and beautiful. She captures relationships so well and the emotion is pouring out during the second story. Just love it.

What the fuck am I reading

This book is strange, but amazing so far. There is just something about the flow of it that is very different and refreshing. But it is Kristin Cashore so I shouldn't really be surprised.

Well that was disturbing.

This BOOK! It's just so wonderful. It feels the way a surprise visit from your best friend would feel. You see them and realize you missed them and needed their presence but not until they're right in front of you. Ah! I wish I'd read it before seeing Kristin at the signing. I have so much to say and ask already! Thank you, thank you for this portable bit of magic! On to part 3!

This book is going to take me forever, but loving it so far. I've missed Kristin Cashore!

I'm glad I had already heard people talk about how strange this section is.. although really there's nothing to prepare you. SLIGHTLY HORRIFYING TBH but still.. good????

Made it to the first story. 100% using this to procrastinate on finishing The Assassin King.

I think this book was made for me. I'm head over heels in love with it already.
