I just didn't get it at first, but am so glad I kept going. SUPER engaged and so curious how it'll unfold!

This book is so weird, but I dig it.

"Jane stands there for a moment, wondering how a tiny, earthbound thing like the question of whom to kiss can possibly be as confusing as transdimensional velociraptors." Okay like. Is this the best book I've ever read?? NOPE. Am I totally understanding everything that's happening?? NOPE. Am I loving the FUCK out of the next-level weird vibes and the adorable bi protag? HELL YES!!!

Oh. Wow. I was NOT expecting that! This is cool.

*audiobook* I love the narrators voice so far. Curse words are a bit much and I'm sad I can't listen to this one because of that with my toddler around especially.

This book is delightfully strange. Cashore astounds me.

Hmmm... Not loving this one. Honestly, how many times can one mention a single tattoo in a book?? I think the author is trying to answer that question. Don't even get me started on the main character!

"Espions sans frontières" then "Seriously? You're just a PERSON?" This was a GREAT page

I shit you not, what just happened was my actual nightmare for about four years as a child. Jesus Christ this is giving me flashbacks to kindergarten.

1) LOVING this concept; 2) Jasper is the BEST, what a GOOD and EXCELLENT dog; 3) very pleasing quantities of bisexuals; 4) Jane being the world's most useless witness made me cry with laughter, I LOVE HER

I'm finishing the last section of this book tonight if it's the last thing I do.

I really do not like this: If I wasn't so far into the novel, I wouldn't finish it. Uggh, there's not much left, but I have to put up a real fight to finish it.

Sad that this is the last story. It's been such a journey. Cashore writes brilliantly.

Now the Sci-Fi edge. Cool! I stayed up way to late because this is so good.

oOoo, Gothic Horror. I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares after reading that part.

Confused. In the early 100s pages, Jane & Kiran see Lucy & JR at the boat, then the action moves to the house with the police. Then Jane & Kiran go to NY to talk to the police on the night of the gala. Then everything jumps to the prep for the gala, Ji-hoon, etc. Does. Not. Make. Sense!

Putting this aside for a while. Will get back to it soonish.

So far this book has had multiple Winnie the Pooh references, a jellyfish tattoo, a serious discussion of Scrabble, the most delightful description of a basset hound imaginable ("His eyes sag, his mouth droops, his ears flop. He is a creature beset by gravity.") and SIGNIFICANT WLW VIBES so obviously I am ENCHANTED
