Status Updates From Jane, Unlimited

I'm keen to finish this.
While this had a promising start, and there's parts I like, and the characters are interesting, I'm finding myself loosing interest while reading. I had two more parts to go, so we'll see what I happen to think by the end of the book.

I am maybe not in the right mood for it. I don't find the beginning exciting but a bit weird. It is more like I am trying to find the clues like it is a detective story though it is probably not a detective story.

why are SO MANY books about art and music nowadays? i'm so tired

Okay, now it's getting interesting, but I'm still all wtf?

I know she said it was like a "choose your own adventure book" and I HATED those as a kid, but I'm reading it anyway. I'm confused as all hell.

I was enjoying the start of this book, and was excited to see where it was going, but have found the timelines that have been introduced so far to be a little underwhelming- even if I can still see this picking up- and can see the intricacies to this novel.

I actually really like art theft books so this is interesting to me.

So, soooo good!

I don’t understand anything yet.

She keeps trying to make Jane and Ravi a thing but Jane has barely shown any interest or intrigue when it comes to him. She hasn’t mentioned she’s attracted to him except for the first time she saw him. (Saying he looks great in a suit doesn’t really count imo.) She hasn’t thought about him a lot the same way she has iIy.

Don't really know what to think so far... fascinating yet also truly bizarre.

Righteous that’s the word I was thinking of. Also she way to quick to not like anyone who doesn’t offer her intrigue.

Jane is ridiculously and boringly on a high horse. She sneaks around and eavesdrops constantly then wants to shame everyone lying to protect people. The more I read, the more I dislike her.

So far seems pretty repetitive. Maybe its because I am listening to the audiobook, but it is very internal monologue-y, which for me is kind of meh. I do enjoy some of the characters, and a new plot point has been introduced that has my interest though.

I'm now curious but I'm still not actually enjoying it.
