This is a weird book! I'm really into it!

I really want to know if the author manages to tie all these different threads together in the end and if so how she does it. I want there to be a purpose to all these alternate choices Jane makes.

This book is blowing my mind and I can't even form coherent thoughts about it

Jane goes to confront Mrs. Vanders about behaving so strangely towards her, but finds out from Mr. Vanders that he knew Aunt Magnolia. I predict that this strange behavior from Mrs. Vanders is related to Aunt Magnolia. (P)

I've heard this book switches genres a few times and I can definitely see that. I actually like it. The characters say the most bizarre things and are very unusual. I'm just trying to wrap my head around everything.

I don't think I've ever been so confused by a book before and it's making it difficult to read.

The Okadas had a gun and were taking Patrick to a location even he didn't know about. Jane suspects Ivy knows something about the matter because she claims up every time she sees Philip Okada. (S)

So far this this is just a jumble of random events that may connect. I don’t normally read books that are primarily mysteries so maybe this is how confusing they are suppose to be.
