confused but intrigued

A lot more telling than showing so far and so many characters introduced that I keep forgetting who is whose boyfriend or sister. But I wanna know what's up with this house.

Why is this the weirdest book I’ve ever read and why am I loving every second of it?!

I’m enjoying it so far.

This book at first made me feel like I'm reading an Agatha Christie book, and now it feels like I'm watching an April Fool's episode of Victorious.

Is it good that I'm just dying to know how this ends? Like, just end already kinda feeling? Is that a sign that I'm bored or am I excitedly curious?

I think I'm just only kinda enjoying it and it's not too special for me yet. I can't help but feel a little detached from the story. I think I like the 'choose your own adventure' idea happening for Jane, but I feel the character development and their interactions with each other gets erased with it as well, if that makes sense, since the story resets? Well, I guess that's kinda a given.

I'm trying not to bee too excited about this book (or any book actually for that matter because books, apparently, ruin me).

I really can’t tell if the characters are gaining
consciousness of there repetition of time lines or if the houses mystery is causing them to go crazy???

love too abruptly realize 2/3 of the way in that this is a choose-your-own-adventure book and decide that i love it

cleaning while listening to this and I just had to sit down because I got so confused and thought the file must be skipping around somehow. but I still...weirdly like it? w/e w/e

Got to the 'choose your own adventure part of the narrative (which is difficult to execute via audio btw - dont approve or recommend) and I lowkey find everyone annoying now lol. The audio should have ended at the 38ish% ending.

“Do you ever feel,” she says to Jane, “like you’re trapped in the wrong version of your life?”

Def not worth a purchase so far. It's entertaining but fairly easy to put down + forget about. Hoping the 'choose your own adventure' craze everyone is talking about regarding this book kicks in soon.

Checking this out via Libby first since I keep hearing conflicting things about whether or not this book is worth the purchase.

there's a thriller, then action, then horror and now sci-fi? i wonder what genre the next section would be...

i'm liking this so much than i should

i know not everyone might agree but i like the storytelling concept of this book

i still have no idea where the story would lead me, but i'm actually having a pretty good time reading this

i know i'm still just a few pages in but all that's happening seems so peculiar. maybe bcs i have no idea what this book is about at all

Disappointing tbh. The plot was very confusing at times although within the story there were elements of clarity. I wanted to love this but very reluctantly I DNF at the last hurdle (pg 355) because I had lost connection with the story completely.

This is a very strange book.

epub, reading on stand by. it‘s ok so far & seems to be well written. i love the dog & the fact that my fav childhood author suddenly wrote a wlw story but i just don’t have the patience for this
