DNF. Loved Part one. Part 2… been listening for hours and it just goes on and on. I love Music as the narrator but not enough to continue. Too much like Forest Gump which I hated.

گاهی برام سوال می‌شه چی شد که به چنین سلیقه‌ای رسیدم؟ چرا محبوب‌هام به‌فنان؟ این با همین روال پیش بره از بهترین کتاب‌های عمرم می‌شه و محض رضای موسیقی، کتاب قبلی که برندگان بود هم همینطور شد

از فرصت استفاده کنم و بگویم اولین بار نبود که یکی از شما یکی از بچه‌های من را دلسرد کرده و سر راهش سنگ انداخته. اگر به ازای هر انسان نچ‌نچ‌گویی که به بچه‌ای گفته زیادی کم سن‌و‌سال است یا به سازی گفته زیادی بزرگ است یا رک و راست گفته رفتن به وادی موسیقی "اتلاف وقت" است یک آجر به من می‌دادند، می‌توانستم دور دنیایتان چند بار دیوار بکشم.

The more I get into the story, the more I’m dreading the end - torn equally between wanting resolution and not wanting to know what happens to Frankie. Thus far, his life has been a tragedy, and I fear it will only end that way.

Loving this very unique book so far. It’s told from the perspective of music!

The end of Part I is equally heartbreaking and masterful. I usually can see things coming, but I did NOT expect that twist so soon. Bravo!

Still enjoying it very much! Beautifully written and feels like non-fiction even though it is. The concept that the book is being narrated by Music itself is awesome and it is hard to put down. Short chapters and going back and forth between the main story and side stories that others tell about Frankie make it an easy read.

Too early to tell, but I love the concept and story thus far!

How is this actually so good?? The concept is so interesting and having music as the narrator is just so fun??? The aesthetic is perfect its so soft and magical and musical, kinda like the movie coco but vintage. Darlene’s section made me fall in love with Frankie too, like he’s so sweet and talented and funny??? I think im going to love this book
