The book was dearly recommended in an expression of love and deep affection, which seems very appropriate. I'm enjoying this immensely.
I have a detailed series of impressions at this point. I'd like to share them sometime after finishing.

This is life. Things get taken away. You will learn to start over many times -- or you will be useless.

Awesome book. Written from his talent's point of view. Check it out. It has a soundtrack too. Sawyer Fredericks sings on it!

It took me a little while to get into this story as the perspective, Music is the storyteller, is unlike anything I've read. But I fell in love with Frankie...his story, his music and his journey!

My third Mitch Albom book and I can tell that this book will be as brilliant as his other masterpiece

I'm reading this with some students so it will likely take me the rest of the year to get through it. Mitch Albom books tend to be ones that I wouldn't choose for myself but create many opportunities for discussion with students, because the language isn't too tough and the messages resonate with the group.

Great story.

Could not get into this book. By 50 pages I know this isn't the book for me. A Forrest Gump of music, I did not like the premise of either this or Gump. Maybe others who enjoyed Forrest Gump will like this better. DNF.

After seriously damaging his hand, hanging out in London searching for Aurora, and then finding her, he ventures to New Zealand where he and Aurora re-find their undying love for each other. Will Frankie be healed (both physically and mentally)? One can only venture a guess.
