I would add that Mitch relies on themes of spirit, faith and hope in his stories and this one is no different. It's refreshing when compared to the darkness, crime and hate used in the more popular genre and films. I feel it important that all those who enjoy reading take a break from mystery and crime and find inspiration with these stories

I can think of very few authors who are also screen writers, playwrights and journalists like Mitch. So it comes as little surprise that his knowledge of music producers, celebrities and pop stars is formidable. This is by far his most unique narrative and I love how it toggles back and forth driven by themes of love and spirit

Has to be one of his most unique narrative approaches. Telling the tale of a guitarist from the soul of music POV.. Fascinating!

First time rereading this one! I read it in HS and loved it and am excited to experience the story again :)

A coworker lent me this. I didn’t plan on reading it but it’s actually quite well written. It’s like daisy jones and the 6 and the Elvis movie had a baby together.
