Why didn't I read this book before?!!

📚 Don't stop me from reading all the books. No one do. Read all you want. Said no one ever.

His writing is giving me so much hope.

Now I regret why I didn't read this book sooner, It is beautiful and sad. Well, many beautiful things are sad.

i’m in pain and that’s all you need to know.

Curiosity about what was next sucked me back in.

I don’t think the narrator’s identity works very well, but the character of Frankie Presto makes up for it.

I enjoy novels about musical prodigies.

Oh man...the ending of part 1 had me bawling my eyes out💔

I instantly remembered the movie Coco.

this isn't even my first mitch albom rodeo and yet i'm still surprised that it inevitably made me cry?

Frankie was already able to play again 🥺🥺🥺 this part really brought me to tears while I was waiting in the parking lot for my dad to return from errands. I am just so invested in Frankie, and everything that happens to him, or what he does — they really affect me.

JUST FINISHED PART 1 AND OMG
I was supposed to be very sleepy already by my eyes bulged when I read the last part. Now THAT’S a twist i NEVER EXPECTED. It’s been so long since a book has shook my socks and wow.... just wow. Mitch Albom has never yet failed me with his writing.

It doesnt have Albom’s usual gripping narrative and I cant pinpoint why...

Part 3 is pretty dark, tell us how Frankie join the wrong band in his life, consequences and how he bear with it when losing his wife, child, career, frienship, reputation, sanity. Totally contrast with the sweetness of part 2

Part 3 key takeaways:
- Control your ambition, do not let it control you
- Prioritize thing that will cherish your heart
- Be assertive about what you want

So far so good

Part 2 takeaways: when we focus on our goal or the reason why we did something, sometimes we need to disconnect with those who can't bring us closer to our goal.
And also, everyone that cross our path have their own period of time before they take off to cross path with the others. Embrace and enjoy every moment

Now, Frankie and Aurora form another band which is family 🥺

So far, I love how Music is the narrator and it gives the whole story a nice twist from other books. Right now, we are still learning about Frankie and his impact on earth.

Tbh it's quite boring in the first half, let's see how it goes to the end😌

I have just started this book - Mitch Albom has a way to draw the reader into the story - i have to say just one word - Brilliant !!

With the muse of Music as early narrator, already captured my heart and imagination with style and substance. Can't wait to tuck into the story.
