Have to wait for the library book! The wait is excruciating.

Something different! Each visit grips me and each character makes me think about human nature.

acabo de salir del fondo del Averno y me pongo a leer sobre la tuberculosis en vacas, no ha sido mi mejor decisión, pero estamos de vuelta!

Some chapters are slow so it’s hard to read when I have distractions but the past few have been soooo good! Harrington just saved the sweetest cutest little farmer’s cow.

I will never understand vets who eat the same animals they treat 🫥

I generally prefer to read a book first. In this case, I can picture the characters as they appear in the Masterpiece series.. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I like the book, but love the series. The book doesn't seem to be a continuous flow as in the series... they are rather short stories in some cases with sometime reference to previous events or characters. but I am enjoying the book very much.

Odio tener que estudiar cosas de leyes cuando lo que quiero es leer cosas de vacas

i love this so far. the writing is charming and herriot's voice is engaging. the characters are lovely so far -- tristan looks like he's going to be hilarious
i love it better than than the corfu trilogy tbh looking into the interesting (and gross) world of veternarians is more fun than reading abt corfu's bugs

The one thing I really appreciate: how honestly the author describes owners 😂
No fucks given - he lays it all out and writes it how we wish we could say it

Typically, this a no for me. I usually never ready books related to my profession but “it’s a classic”
So here we go.

There’s not much to say except this book feels like a warm cuppa by the fire on an especially cold winter’s night.

DNF @28% because of language. I was entertained but it was also turning out to be a bit repetitive/boring.
