So far I'm liking this book, but like many other reviewers have said, it is quite dense. In the regex section, lookaheads are discounted. They can, in fact, be useful. A previous coworker of mine had pioneered the use of them in the parsing of various EDI headers. I think an example or at least explanation of opinion would have been useful here.
