Are truthy and falsy values really good? Javascript, I'm trying to love you, but you make it so hard. Why can't you just have true and false like a normal language?

So far I'm liking this book, but like many other reviewers have said, it is quite dense. In the regex section, lookaheads are discounted. They can, in fact, be useful. A previous coworker of mine had pioneered the use of them in the parsing of various EDI headers. I think an example or at least explanation of opinion would have been useful here.

Memoization & Prototypal vs Pseudoclassical Inheritance

Rereading because I'm getting interested in ES7 and it seems to address most of the issues I remember from this book.

<3 JS. A language for schizophrenics and/or true masochists, and yet so elegant and so powerful.. once you scrape all the bad parts, that is :D And to help you with that, here's the ultimate guide by JS gury himself, Mr. Douglas Crockford :)
