Honestly there's just something about his writing that keeps you glued to the pages. I believe it has got a lot to do with the plot as well and usually crime/detective books tend to be very dry because of all the info-dump but this one made me care enough for each one of it. Eddie is ruthless and he's starting to grow on me for sure!!!

“Prosecutor’s will put in to have bail revoked” no they don’t. You have to have a reason, not just because you want to. And “they will get it revoked so everyone sees them if cuffs and their case is done for” also incorrect, where it’s a mistrial if the jury sees a defendant in cuffs. This idea that the prosecutor is playing dirty is immediately infuriating

So far, this book is better than I expected.

Trudging through the audio book. I’m not hooked .

So far I am gripped. Its keeping me guessing as to which way this is gonna end and I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Not a big fan of the past POV. I just wanna know what is gonna happen with the mob and how he will get out of it. Not that he was in rehab and what he did on Christmas 2 years ago

Okaaaay this is speeding up! Eddie Flynn is such an awesome litigator. I loved listening to his defence in court. I’m only 78 in, and have no idea how this will proceed. It’s also funny to read, as I’m a lawyer myself and the system in the US is different from Denmark and most of Europe
