Getting my S.C. fix. I'm yet to find someone who does thriller as cleverly as he does. Hooked from first chapter. 😍

DNF-ed.
It is not that the book is bad, it just that I don't like this genre.
I might pick up this book later if at all my interests change. Let's see...

Eddie Flynn for the win so far! Loving this character. I'm always a fan of the confidence man/hustler stories and this one is fun and fast.

Ack, I really liked Thirteen because of the well-written villain but 13 pages in and this is all the tropes that bore me in crime fiction so I'm hoping that the story wins me over.
Male + Police/Lawyer/Detective + used to do shady shit + alcoholism/substance misuse + separated/divorced/family problems + one child.
Like, isn't that the basis behind the Rebus novels and so many other crime novels too? Pls be good!

This started out out in high gear and never slowed down! I'm a huge fan, Cavanagh! 5/5 suspenseful stars.

The Russian mob has Eddie Flynn's daughter, and he's wearing a bomb. What a page-turner!

I've been wanting to read Steve Cavanagh for a long time. Hope this lives up to the hype.

This is it! I am enjoying this “new to me” author. The plot is gripping and I hate to even stop reading. But alas, there is work in the morning - early in the morning. Decisions, decisions. Maybe I can fit in another 30 minutes...
