Not bad; funny at times but a little too self aware

Little bit slow at the beginning...but story is pretty much set up now so I hope for more fun :)

So far interesting and engaging - although not living up to earlier books by the author.

I really feel like the end of the book did already came.
Really hoping for another 200ish pages with a good story and not to long about the same shit, wich happend already couple of times..

Not sure whether I like this tale or not. The chop chop style of writing is a bit awkward to read at times.

i have really enjoyed Jonnason's writing in his other novels and this one seems right up my street so hoping I enjoy it!!

So slow... Not his best work

Not a patch on his previous books. One of us is getting tired! The 100 year old man had me in hysterics from start to finish, and I was sorry when it ended. The girl who saved the King of Sweden made me laugh, almost from start to finish, and I then hoped that there would be another, where Jonasson would get back on the ball. But no, this one was puzzling, mildly amusing on occasions, and barely raised a chuckle.

That's it: I'm skim-reading this from now on. I'm REALLY disappointed by this book!

Aaargh!! This just isn't making any sense and isn't remotely funny either! A former hitman finding Jesus and wanting to start his own church?! If things don't improve soon, I'm going to DNF it.

This book is such a disappointment... I really loved The Hundred-Year-Old Man, but Hitman Anders is nothing like that book. Boring, poor character development and plot, not funny at all... I'm really wondering if I should just DNF it.

Meh definitely not as good as what I was hoping for. Actually, the story is quite boring, lacks character development, I feel no connection to the characters and it's not funny at all. Also, the plot is weak so far.

I'm not impressed so far. The Hundred-Year-Old Man is a favorite of mine, but I can't say I'm having similar feelings for this one.

I'm not enjoying readings this as much as I did 'The Hundred Year Old Man...'. The translation does not seem great in places.

The plot, as expected from Jonasson, is wild and dramatic. But I am not enjoying it as much as his other books. Still getting into it.
