In retrospect, or reread whatever, Beth (and us, the poor reader) were totally clueless bc so much we learn here shortly is quite plain to see 😂

This series is really good still but on a reread info dumps through the characters make them feel somewhat stiff. But I loved these books so much, after reading on KU I bought them in physical form and on audible so that says something lol.

Truly enjoying my first reread via audio. These stories are so well written, and more historically accurate than OL
