This is the kind of book that that guy in your Intro to Creative Writing class would drool over. That's not to say it isn't good. Sunil Yapa is brilliant, and a great writer, but he KNOWS he's a great writer, so his writing kind of has this conceited air that kind of irks me. Its also a bit of a slow read until halfway through.
