Rereading this series and falling in love with it all over again. This book is definitely more darker than the first because Adelina accepts this is who she is now. An elite that thrives off fear and the pain of others. But I love how right now just by the sight of “Enzo” she forgets her plans of conquering, evil, and revenge. She forgets it all and only feels love for him (even though it’s not the real him. )
