Cuando me pregunten por qué amo a Gaiman si sus historias no me convencen del todo, les contestaré esto.

Gaiman es muy enfático en que para el una historia es algo que te obligue a pasar de página a página, queriendo saber "qué pasa". Aunque este no es un libro de historias, sino de conferencias, prólogos y demás, sí le hace a uno pasar de página sin darse cuenta, alegremente, como una gran historia, su historia de vida, contada a través de esos pequeños vistazos que él hace de los más variados temas. Va muy bien.

I didn't DNF this book the first time, I just put it back on the bookshelf with the bookmark in it...
As I'm looking to read more non-fiction this year, I've pulled it out again.

Im learning so many things about things i dont understand! (srry for the constant updates theres nothing going on in my life)

half of these r about like books ive never read or authors i didnt know existed so it feels like those one sided convos where ur just nodding politely and have no idea whats happening
still good tho

neil i love you but i’m never going to finish these essays it’s been MONTHS; every time i finish one, another just spawns a few pages later like wtf

The middle part focuses on comic books and its value and history. While interesting, listening to two discs on it has been tedious, and my interest waned.

Paused this for a while, but now back to it in the audiobook version, listening while I’m working. Man, I love the sound of his voice.

I forgot about this gem- a description of Pratchett’s later works:
“He became more outraged at what people can do to other people and prouder of what they can do for each other”
If that doesn’t sum up my feelings about the past 14-15 months I’m not sure what does...

It is, apparently, the year for re-visiting collected essays from authors with whom I want to be friends...

This is a wonderful collection of lectures, keynotes, introductions, and other writings of Gaiman from over the last decade or longer, maybe. I listened to the audio which is read by Gaiman during National Library Week and it was absolutely perfect.

Había visto La Máscara de Cristal (MirrorMask) sin saber que fue escrito por Neil Giman y estaba detrás, también, acompañado por Jim Henson Company.

This was the perfect audio book for National Library Week!

Son ensayos y diversos "speech"/discursos que tuvo que escribir el autor a lo largo de su vida, pero de una manera u otra el compilado pareciera reflejar su vida misma.

Sigo enamorado de este libro :O
