I was confused about classes, attributes, and methods. I’m still not 100% confident, but this book’s explanation (chapter 9) is the clearest I’ve come across so far.

Basic stuff once again. But I learned .strip() which is new to me so not complete waste of time.

Started at Ch2. I'm going to know most of the introductory stuff. But I'll go through it to review.

Tried a lot of resources to start Python, the only one book kept me reading is this. Great!

First project done. I definitely don't want to be a game developer, wasn't that into it. On to data science nerd-stuff.

Just finished the first big project, the Alien Invasion Game. The first half of the book was FANTASTIC, and I learned an immense amount. This first project was far more challenging in that I could never have put this together myself, with the limited knowledge that I have. However, going through the motions, with Matthes' code, helped me to understand how I would approach such an immense project in the future.

Very clear book. I don't so much read it as work my way though it. Life happened and I haven't been working through it lately. Need to get back into a routine.
In my view, you should have a programming environment installed before you start this book. If you don't, the author will walk you through doing so. I just liked being able to skip ahead to the actual programming.

So far, so good. Concepts are presented with numerous examples and exercises at a pretty easy pace. Already on chapter 7.
