Chapter 9: Classes

i should probably take this book off my currently reading because i’m never gonna finish it but anyway

It is very refreshing so far - a great reminder of the foundations of programming. I have to note how much I love the simplicity and structure of Python! My only complaint is that the post-chapter exercises are too simple and unimaginative (almost the same as the examples in the chapter).

This book gives detailed explanation of everything deeeeeply just so you unerstand. I love it so far

The random module shouldn't be used when building security-related applications.

A few pages in and I've learned quite a lot already. It's generally easy to follow and it's a fun read. I hope to apply this knowledge into the future.

Have completed the first 5 chapters!

This book is extremely good in teaching programming to beginners! I have completed 4 chapters out of 20 and I am enjoying it a lot!

Haven't even done a fraction of this book but I am enjoying it a lot!

Making new progress

Making progress through this book. I did find a quote that I like a lot " Now is better than never."

Learning a few things about how to set up variables is really helpful in my classwork. One thing in particular that stood out to me in this class work is Variable names can contain only letters, numbers, and underscores. They can start with a letter or an underscore, but not with a number. For instance, you can call a variable message_1 but not 1_message.

finally... the fun part

Classes, writing and reading from a file and exceptions are explained very clearly.

I'm on chapter 7, I've learned about lists, dict., and how to nest dict. and lists. everything is explained clearly and easily till now.

I made a huge progress on data visualization using matplotlib and plotly library.
Next two chapters work with request library to handle API, yay!
I'm studying two more books for python simultaneously.

completed 11 chapters, now it's time to do some projects!

Intro to variables, for loops, if/while statements, dictionaries, lists, sets.

Python gets even easier when it's tough by this book.
I may need to study faster due to the need of using it in machine learning algorithms.

almost Phineas..

this is a good textbook for python, the first chapters seem too simple as I'm familiar with basics of programming language capabilities.
right now, lists are comprehensively explained.
