So far the book is pretty boring. I put the book down a while ago and haven’t picked it back up since. I will start to read it again because I always finish the books that I start, but I think it will definitely be a read that I have to push through.

I think we've rehashed the same 2 sentiments over and over the last 50 pages. Heroine is dull and wish washy. Hero isn't working for me. Not enough chemistry. I also crave some hints or insights into what is actually happening plot wise.

Who gives a flying fig what your ancestors did 600 years ago. I wouldn’t care what they did 6 days ago. I would be unwilling to pay for the crimes of any man, especially a man who gave me away to what they knew would be death.

So… this is the worst! There is no way on God’s green earth that I would let these men use me if death was an option. I would use that collar to hang myself. Or… I would stab someone. If you know they are going to kill you, obedience isn’t smart. It’s stupid. This chick is the worst. Predatory men are scum, the worst kind of animals on earth.
