I love the movie but not so much the book. Not to be a prude but it’s a lot more sexual than I was ready for. I was looking for something that was just a cutesy story and was hit with more.

Kind of giving me whip lash but I like it?

Not appreciating the lack of chapter divisions…

I can’t tell if all the characters are insufferable because the audiobook narrator is awful or vice versa

DNF’ed a while back but we’re gonna try again. I need to be a little festive this October …

this has been fascinating to read as someone without a sister

So far, I liked the way the movie outlined the story better. Maybe if I hadn’t seen the movie like 50 times before reading the book. I’m gonna finish it. I swear

We finally meet Gary, I was hoping that storyline would be included. I’m really excited to read the end of this story now. It’s been a very interesting read, so very different to what I expected it to be though.

I’m honestly not fully sure what to make of this story. It’s a good read, it’s entertaining. But there’s not nearly enough of the magic element as I expected it to have. It has a lot of darker storylines than I thought it would have too. Last section of the book, which I’m doubtful I will finish today, but still I’ll read a little more.
