Listen I liked it but it felt unnecessary…? Everything here felt like the first book did it better or was unnecessary.
Still a good book overall though, especially the romance stuff and new worldbuilding, but it’s chill if you don’t read it after ASID. It doesn’t add much to the story.
I’m still excited for the actual companion thingy though.

They really didn’t need (SPOILER) to return. The ASID climax was so boring and just a bunch of info dumping, and I’m starting to wonder if it’ll be like that again…
